Fe y Alegría define para la gestión de los riesgos tomar como referencia la NTC ISO 31000 GESTIÓN DEL RIESGO PRINCIPIOS Y DIRECTRICES, y la NTC ISO 31010 TÉCNICAS DE VALORACIÓN DEL RIESGO.
En este sentido define documentar y gestionar sus riesgos por medio de matrices integrales de gestión del riesgo.
